These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all skip bin hire services provided by Auckland Skip Bins ("we", "us", "our") to the customer ("you", "your"). By booking a skip bin with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
A booking is only confirmed once we have contacted you to confirm delivery details. Until that point, your booking is considered a request. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.
All prices quoted include GST. Payment is due on delivery (cash) or by bank transfer within 24 hours of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Credit and debit card payments attract a 1.5% surcharge to cover processing fees.

You are responsible for ensuring there is safe, legal and accessible space on your property for the bin. If the bin must be placed on a public road or footpath, you must obtain any required council permits at your own cost.
We are not responsible for damage to driveways, paving, lawns or other surfaces caused by the weight of the bin or delivery vehicle. We will take reasonable care, but please flag any concerns before delivery.
Standard hire periods are 3 or 7 days from the date of delivery. Bins not collected by the end of the hire period may incur daily extension fees. Contact us in advance if you need an extension.
The following materials must NOT be placed in any skip bin:
If prohibited materials are found in your bin, you will be liable for any additional disposal costs, fines or penalties incurred.
Bins must be filled level with the top edge — no heaping. Overfilled bins cannot be safely transported and may not be collected, or may incur additional charges.
You are responsible for the bin while it is on your property. Any damage to or loss of the bin during the hire period (excluding normal wear) is your responsibility.
We accept no liability for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from the use or hire of our bins.
Bookings may be cancelled at no charge before the bin has been dispatched. Once the bin is in transit or has been delivered, a cancellation fee may apply to cover delivery and pickup costs.
Personal information collected during booking is used only for the purpose of providing our service. We do not share your details with third parties except where required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always applies to new bookings. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be resolved in the New Zealand courts.
